Subordinated to South China Digital Media Art Institute, the Micro-innovative Platform for Animation and New Medias mainly studies animation art and digital media art. On the basis of the academic researches, this multidisciplinary platform focuses on patent registration, copyright utilization and commercial operation of artistic works.

The influence of artistic work depends on whether the information is disseminated effectively and received by audience in the omnimedia era. Animation today is more of a unique cultural phenomenon in society than an entertainment for youth. It embodies a remarkable achievement that gorgeous Chinese art has been embraced by the mass. The expression of animation may be puerile and simple yet kind and effective.
